Smile Public Holiday Entitlement Summary

As next Monday is a public holiday in Ireland, I thought the attached summary of public holiday entitlements might be useful.

All full time employees are entitled to benefit for the public holiday. Part time employees who have worked at least a total of 40 hours in the 5 weeks preceding the public holiday, are entitled to some benefit. It is important to remember also that employees are entitled to benefit whether they work on the day or not!

The attached document may help in calculating who is entitled to benefit, and how much.
